My husband and I have security cameras installed all over the house. Importantly, my mother-in-law is unaware of their presence. When we got back home, I decided to examine the footage. What unfolded on the screen left me utterly shocked. I saw my MIL 😱👇👇
At first, everything seemed normal. She walked through the living room, humming softly, touching things as if inspecting them. But then her behavior changed. She paused near my son’s room, glanced around nervously, and slowly pushed the door open. My heart started racing as I leaned closer to the screen.
She stepped inside and stood there for a moment, just watching. Then she reached into her bag and pulled something out. I couldn’t quite see what it was, but she placed it carefully under his pillow. My stomach dropped.
When I checked another camera angle, I finally saw it clearly—a small envelope.
Confused and shaken, I ran upstairs and looked under the pillow myself. Inside the envelope was money… and a note.
“I know things have been hard. Don’t tell your parents. Love, Grandma.”
Tears filled my eyes. I had expected something terrible, but instead, I found quiet kindness. She wasn’t sneaking around to harm us—she was helping in the only way she knew how, silently and without pride.
